Former New Orleans Saints star quarterback Archie Manning is always a behavior model in local community, and the kind man is always willing to offer helpful information to his fans. And recently he wrote an article on local newspaper advising elderly fans to wear glasses while staying outdoors.
Archie cited an Australian research, which pointed out that a pair of single lens distance glasses could help elderly person have a clear vision of the outside world and thus prevent them from falling in unfamiliar environments. Archie hopes his fans could take good care of themselves if they want to witness more Saints victories. Archie also offers some names of glasses shops selling glasses with Saints logos for fans who want everything matching their beloved Archie Manning jerseys.
According to newest studies, elderly people should avoid wearing bifocals or other "multifocus" lens glasses for outdoors as such glasses could delay eyes’ reaction to changing environment and elder people with worse reaction than young people would easily fall while wearing the glasses. Archie himself, however, seldom wears glasses for outdoors as the former quarterback knows a lot about protecting eyes and likes viewing the world with naked eyes.
